Teriyaki Skirt Steak Tacos
Ingredients (8 tacos/4 servings)
Steak + marinade
1.5 lb Chop House Skirt Steak
Chop House Teriyaki sauce packet
Tacos
8 small tortillas (corn or flour)
2 cups shredded cabbage (or bagged slaw mix)
1/4 cup chopped cilantro
2–3 tbsp lime juice
1 tsp olive oil (or mayo for a creamier slaw)
Salt + pepper
Optional toppings: sliced green onion, sesame seeds, sriracha or spicy mayo, diced cucumber, avocado
Steps
- Make the slaw
Toss cabbage with cilantro, lime juice, olive oil (or a little mayo), salt, and pepper. Chill until serving. - Heat the steak
Heat a grill or cast-iron skillet to medium heat. Reheat steak 2–3 min per side. - Slice
Slice thinly against the grain and top with sauce packet. - Warm tortillas + assemble
Warm tortillas in a dry pan. Add slaw, sliced steak, and your favorite toppings.
