Steak Fajitas

Ingredients (4 servings / ~8 fajitas)

Steak + marinade

  • 1.5 lb Chop House Flank Steak or Skirt Steak

  • Chop House sauce packet

Veggies

  • 2 bell peppers, sliced

  • 1 large yellow onion, sliced

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • Salt + pepper

Steps

  1. Prep veggies
    Slice peppers and onion into thin strips.

  2. Cook the veggies
    Heat a large skillet (cast iron is great) over medium-high. Add oil, then peppers + onion. Cook 6–8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until softened with a little char. Season with salt/pepper. Remove to a plate.

  3. Reheat steak
    Turn heat to high. Reheat steak 2–3 minutes per side.

  4. Slice
    Slice thinly against the grain.

  5. Combine + serve
    Toss sliced steak with the cooked peppers/onions and sauce from packet. Warm tortillas and build fajitas.
