Bourbon Steak Bowls

Ingredients (4 servings)

Steak

  • 1.5lb Chop House NY Strip Steak

  • Chop House sauce packet

Bowls

  • 2 cups cooked rice (white, brown, or jasmine) (~1/2 cup cooked per bowl)
  • 2 cups broccoli florets (or green beans)
  • 1–2 cups shredded carrots and/or sliced cucumber
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced (optional)
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • Sesame seeds (optional)
  • Lime wedges (optional)

Steps

  1. Cook your base + veggies
    Cook rice if not already made.
    Steam or sauté broccoli 4–6 minutes until bright and tender-crisp (salt lightly).
  2. Heat the steak
    Heat a grill or cast-iron skillet to high. Reheat steak 2–3 min per side.
  3. Slice
    Slice thin.
  4. Assemble bowls
    Rice on the bottom, add veggies, steak, then drizzle sauce from packet.
    Top with green onion, sesame seeds, lime.
